Who are your closest friends? What is the racial mix in this group? Reflect on this.
My current friend group is very small. In retrospect, in high school and in undergraduate schooling, it was large due to being associated with many social organizations. I now believe that my social circles need to be small and deeply meaningful. My closest friends know my hopes, dreams and fears very well. This is something I can’t and will not share openly. Thus, I share with only my closest.
